The pickups are Calibrated Mega Texas style from GFS (GuitarFetish.com). The body is Swamp Ash, Colonial maple stain finish with 3 coats of clear PolyAcrylic. Completed March 12, 2016.
A gift from Joe's loving wife, Karen. Chief Plum Wolf is a distant ancestor of Joe's. Karen sent me a photo of the chief and asked if I could carver it into a guitar for her guy. I added a wolf cub and some Native American symbolism and there she is. The volume and tone controls are arrowheads (also Karen's idea) carved from walnut. |
